"The House in the Trees" Out at Gryphonwood

"The House in the Trees" is the lead story in the current issue of Gryphonwood!! I'm really excited about it! That only leaves one story sold but not published; To Dance with a Hurricane will be coming out in the April issue of AlienSkin. (Talk about a surprise...I never expected that one to make it, not at AlienSkin. But it did, and I'm delighted.)

none

I got another rejection today--a three-day rejection! Now those are the kind I like. :-D (I don't like having to wait for a rejection. Although, it is just one more facet of the writing life.)

I really wish I had more time to write. I really do. I steal any little moment I can, but it's never enough. I'm working on Crown and Glory right now...it keeps trying to turn into a novella. I will not have that. I want it to be a short story! Well, at least a thousand words will be able to come out. And hopefully more than that...right now, I'd just be happy if I could get it under 10,000 words! (Technically, that is a novella, but most short-story publishers will still accept it.)

Meep.

I made a sale, I made a sale!

Albeit, a small one. But, who cares? I'm still thrilled!

Gryphonwood Press bought my short story, "The House in the Trees", and it should be coming out in their March issue on March 15. This means that I've sold three short stories this year, one each month!!

:does a happy dance: I'm so excited!
